How do I add a new cosplay?
Tap the + button on the Cosplays tab, give it a name, character and source. From there you can add tasks, materials, references, progress photos and link the cosplay to upcoming events.
How does iCloud sync work?
Coshirae uses Apple's CloudKit. As long as you're signed into the same iCloud account on each device and iCloud Drive is enabled, your cosplays appear across iPhone and iPad automatically. The data lives in your private database — neither I nor anyone else can read it.
My cosplays aren't syncing to my other device.
Open Settings → [Your name] → iCloud on both devices and confirm Coshirae is enabled. Make sure both devices are on iOS 26 or newer and connected to the internet. Sync can take a minute on first launch — pull-to-refresh inside the app to force a check.
I bought Coshirae Pro and now I'm on a new device — how do I restore it?
Open Coshirae, tap Settings → Coshirae Pro → Restore Purchases. You'll need to be signed into the App Store with the same Apple ID you used to buy Pro. Restores are free, instant, and unlimited.
What's the difference between the base app and Coshirae Pro?
The base app includes full task, material, reference and packing-list features. The 9,99 € one-time Pro unlock removes the cosplay, event and photo limits and adds the multi-platform share kit, PDF export, advanced Swift Charts statistics, JSON backup, 3D object scan and premium app icons.
Can I export my cosplays as a PDF?
Yes — PDF export is part of Coshirae Pro. Open any cosplay or event and tap the share icon to generate a print-ready PDF of tasks, materials, references and packing lists.
Can I back up my data outside iCloud?
Yes. Coshirae Pro includes JSON backup & restore. Export a full snapshot, store it in Files or any cloud you trust, and re-import later.
How do I get a refund?
App purchases and in-app purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com within Apple's refund window to request one. If something's broken on my end, please also email me so I can fix it.
Will there be an Android version?
Coshirae is built natively on SwiftUI, SwiftData and CloudKit for iOS 26+. There are no plans for an Android port today.
